NASAO Welcomes New FAA Administrator, Steve Dickson

Washington, DC (July 24, 2019) – The Senate voted 52-40 to confirm Steve Dickson as the new Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Administrator. The National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) issued the following statement:


“NASAO congratulates Steve Dickson on his confirmation as FAA Administrator. We look forward to working with him and continuing our longstanding partnership with the FAA,” said Shelly Simi, President & CEO. “We sincerely thank Dan Elwell for his support and contributions, and we hope to see legislation passed that enables Mr. Elwell to continue providing leadership to the FAA alongside Mr. Dickson.”
